Special Programme to Commemorate National Science Day on 28th February 2010
The Centre will organise special programmes for school students and general public to commemorate National Science Day on 28th February 2010. A Sir C V Raman memorial Science Demonstration Lecture will be organised in which interactive science experiments will be performed.
The Centre has recently opened a new gallery on 7000 years of Indian Science and Technology Heritage. Visitors will be taken around the gallery and later an Open house Quiz will be conducted based on the gallery. Winners will be given attractive prizes.
As a true tribute, on the occasion of 150 birth anniversary of the Great Indian Scientist, Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose, A new documentary film on the Life and Works of the Scientist, has been produced by the National Council of Science Museums. The Centre will screen the film in the auditorium for the first time.
